Disney's The Lion King

About This Event

The six-time Tony Award-winning musical features stunningly immersive set pieces and award-winning choreography.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive early to find your seat and soak in the Detroit Opera House lobby—the venue's architecture and ambience are part of the experience.
• 2.Watch for the show's signature puppetry and elaborate costumes up close; the production uses huge set pieces and movement to tell the story.
• 3.Plan for intermission breaks and use them to stretch your legs or grab a quick drink; the lobby gets busy right before the show resumes.
• 4.Silence phones and avoid recording full clips; save memories with a single photo before or after the performance.
• 5.If you're bringing kids, prep them for a big theatre night and have a quick plan for snack breaks and exits during intermission.
