Downtown Farmington Grand Raven Festival

About This Event

Enjoy the Raven by Edgar Allan Poe theme throughout Farmington with food, fun, and activities including the Grand Raven Book Walk and pumpkin carving.

What to Expect

• 1.The Raven theme runs through downtown, so expect a mix of themed activities rather than one central show. Check the event schedule or map when you arrive so you can find the Book Walk and pumpkin carving.
• 2.The Book Walk is a good way to explore at your own pace. Wear comfortable shoes, especially if you plan to visit several downtown stops.
• 3.Pumpkin carving can get messy, so dress kids in clothes you do not mind getting stained. Bring a layer too, since October weather in Michigan can turn chilly.
• 4.Food is part of the event, but the listing does not specify vendors or menus. Have a backup plan nearby if you need a particular meal or have dietary restrictions.
• 5.Downtown activities may be spread across multiple storefronts or public areas, so allow extra time for walking and keep an eye on children near streets and parking areas.
