Downtown Rochester Farmers' Market

About This Event

The weekly farmers' market featuring fresh produce, flowers, and handmade goods from local vendors.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll wander a line of vendor tents along Downtown Rochester's East 3rd Street; start at the earliest booths to snag the freshest produce and flowers, and bring a sturdy tote to haul your finds.
• 2.The crowd is friendly and low pressure, and vendors are happy to chat about how they grow things or suggest varieties.
• 3.You'll find ready to eat snacks and drinks in addition to produce, so bring a little cash and a reusable bag for a few tasty detours.
• 4.It's an outdoor market in October, so dress in layers and check the forecast; parking around the market can fill up, so plan to arrive a bit early.
• 5.As a first timer shopping solo, map a loose route but allow time to wander, say hello to a few growers, and ask for tips on what to buy.
