What to Expect
- 1.Arrive a few minutes early to meet the adoptable pups and get your mat set up; pups may roam the room before class starts, so expect some tail wagging.
- 2.Stay flexible—the dogs may wander or hop onto mats, so follow the instructor and keep your hands away from the pups’ faces.
- 3.This is a fundraiser for Friends of DACC, so consider bringing a small donation or participating in any available event activities to support the cause.
- 4.Parking around downtown Royal Oak can be tight, so allow extra time and consider street parking or nearby lots.
- 5.If you’re thinking about adoption, bring a valid photo ID and be prepared to fill out a short application after class; otherwise enjoy the vibe and chat with volunteers about the dogs.
