What to Expect
- 1.Arrive early to snag a good seat in the intimate room and let the opener warm up the crowd.
- 2.Phone off and conversations kept quiet so you don’t miss lines—this room gets close and loud.
- 3.There’s a bar on site, so plan to order a drink or snack before or after the set.
- 4.Parking in Royal Oak can be tight—give yourself extra time and consider rideshare if you’re running late.
- 5.If you’re new to stand-up, watch the opener and go in with an open mind—Dulcé Sloan’s material is topical and not for kids.
