What to Expect
- 1.Lee Ann will guide you through basic embroidery stitches and you'll stitch along during the class. You'll leave with a simple finished piece and a basic toolkit to keep practicing at home.
- 2.The class is small and falls in a museum setting, so the vibe is calm and supportive rather than loud or chaotic. It's easy to keep your pace and ask questions as you go.
- 3.Plan to arrive a few minutes early to find the classroom inside Troy Historic Village and to park in the main lot. The building can be easy to miss if you're not looking for the sign, so give yourself a little extra time.
- 4.Check whether supplies are included; if not, bring a basic embroidery hoop, scissors, and a lightweight fabric so you're ready to start right away.
- 5.If you're new to stitching, don't worry about perfection. It's beginner friendly and people around you will be happy to share tips and cheer you on.
