EnerGY Dance Competition

About This Event

Regional dance competition featuring various styles and age groups.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive early to catch warmups and map sightlines, since this regional competition runs blocks of performances across several dance styles and age groups.
• 2.Expect a wide mix of styles—from contemporary and jazz to hip-hop—and performers of different ages; plan to cheer multiple acts as the day unfolds.
• 3.The Berman Center is a theater setting, so most of the day will be seated; bring water and a light snack for intermissions and check the venue's policy on outside food.
• 4.Be respectful to the performers and other audience members: silence your phone, avoid video recording without permission, and clap for numbers you enjoyed between performances.
• 5.Parking nearby on West Maple Road can fill up after shows, so give yourself extra time; if you need accessibility accommodations, contact the box office ahead of time.
