What to Expect

• 1.Expect a brief, formal dedication with remarks and a moment to reflect at the new memorial. Arrive on time so you don't miss the ceremony.
• 2.This is a respectful community gathering, not a casual drop-in event. Keep conversations and phone use to a minimum during the remarks.
• 3.The event is at City Hall in downtown South Lyon, so look for public parking nearby and allow a few extra minutes to walk to the ceremony.
• 4.Late October weather in Michigan can be chilly or wet. Dress in layers and bring an umbrella if the forecast calls for rain.
