Friday Night Flights Beer Festival

About This Event

A special beer festival event held during the Michigan State Fair featuring local craft brews.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll wander through rows of local craft brews sampling small pours from Michigan breweries, and a few booths might offer tastings you want to hit while you sip. Go in with a plan but be ready to improvise if a line dies down and a new beer catches your eye.
• 2.The showroom floor can get crowded so wear comfy shoes and pace yourself, using a map or app to target your must tries and avoid wandering aimlessly.
• 3.Food options are nearby or inside the venue, so plan to pair your beer with snacks; lines for popular bites can be long, especially during peak times.
• 4.Bring ID and expect a wristband or ticket system, carry a lightweight bag for any samples you collect, and hydrate with water stations between tastings.
• 5.If you're new to beer festivals, start with lighter beers to wake up your palate, chat with booth staff or fellow tasters, and pick a soft regroup point in case you're navigating solo.
