Full Moon Friday Night Hike

About This Event

Guided night hike through Heritage Park to observe the night sky and nocturnal animals.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll walk a mile or so on Heritage Park trails after dusk, watching the moon and constellations. The guide will help you spot nocturnal animals and explain their behavior.
• 2.The vibe is relaxed and low pressure, but you will be in a small group so you might chat briefly before and after.
• 3.Dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Bring a small headlamp or flashlight with a red mode to protect night vision and a bottle of water.
• 4.Parking is in the park lot; plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early for check-in.
• 5.If you are new to night hikes, tell the guide you are a first timer; you can opt to take it slower or step out if needed.
