Funky Ferndale Art Fair

About This Event

A juried art fair featuring over 140 artists with a focus on the unconventional and funky.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll wander through a gallery of 140 artists in a government office building, so expect bold unconventional pieces across mixed media and installations.
• 2.The crowd is lively but not chaotic; give yourself time to chat with artists and fellow attendees when a booth catches your eye.
• 3.Food and drink options inside are usually limited in this kind of venue, so bring water and plan to grab snacks or coffee on nearby East 9 Mile Road after you exit.
• 4.Logistics can be a puzzle in a government office space; arrive early, grab a map at the entrance, and wear comfy shoes since you'll be walking and standing a lot.
• 5.If you are new to art fairs, have a rough budget in mind, ask about commissions and prints, and bring a small tote to carry purchases.
