GWBHS Open House

About This Event

Permanent exhibits interpret local area history and culture. Free admission.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive a bit early and swing by the Orchard Lake Museum front desk to grab a map and ask about any docent-led tours of the permanent exhibits.
• 2.Take your time with the local history displays—volunteer docents are usually around to give quick context and answer questions.
• 3.If you're into local culture, ask about artifacts related to Orchard Lake's past; tours often highlight a few standout pieces you might otherwise miss.
• 4.Since admission is free, plan for a relaxed visit and keep an eye on signs for restricted areas—photos are usually okay but confirm.
• 5.If you're bringing kids or friends, expect a casual, self-paced visit of roughly 60–90 minutes; there may be kid-friendly activities or scavenger hunts on offer.
