Hamilton

About This Event

The Pulitzer Prize-winning musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda about the life of Alexander Hamilton.

What to Expect

• 1.Plan to arrive early to park and find your seat; matinee shows can have downtown Detroit traffic, so give yourself extra time.
• 2.For the best experience, aim for center orchestra or front mezzanine to get the clearest sightlines and strongest sound.
• 3.Hamilton moves fast with rap-heavy numbers—keep up with the pacing and enjoy the energetic ensemble performances.
• 4.There’s an intermission halfway through the show; use it for a bathroom break, stretch, and to grab a quick drink or snack.
• 5.Dress smart‑casual and comfy; the Fisher Theatre is a traditional, polished venue, so you’ll be seated for long stretches—wear comfortable shoes.
