Hamilton

About This Event

The groundbreaking musical that redefined Broadway, showcasing the story of Alexander Hamilton with an innovative blend of hip-hop, R&B, and traditional musical theater.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive early to park and find your seat; Fisher Theatre's classic proscenium setup means entry can take a minute, and you’ll want a minute to soak in the lobby before the lights go down.
• 2.Hamilton runs on high energy with rapid-fire rap and big dance numbers, so pick seats with a clear sightline to catch the choreography and facial expressions.
• 3.Intermission is usually around 15 minutes—use it to stretch, refill a drink, or scan the program; lines at the concessions can be long right before the show resumes.
• 4.Dress comfortably and layer up; theatres are climate-controlled and the show is long, so bring a light jacket if you tend to feel chilly.
• 5.If you need accessibility options, call the Fisher Theatre ahead of time to arrange seating or hearing assistance; and consider bringing ear protection if you’re sensitive to loud musical moments.
