What to Expect
- 1.Bring proof of Wixom residency and a photo ID if required, and check the city’s site for accepted items and any limits.
- 2.Sort items at home and place them in clearly labeled, sealed containers so staff can quickly identify and dispose of them safely.
- 3.Expect lines and plan to arrive a bit before 9am to drive into the Public Works lot.
- 4.There will be staff directing you through the process—follow their instructions to minimize delays and keep traffic moving.
- 5.If you have liquids, paints, pesticides, or solvents, keep them upright and in original containers when possible, and keep incompatible materials separate.
