About This Event

The “Some Fear” Tour featuring comedian J. Chris Newberg.

What to Expect

• 1.J. Chris Newberg will take the stage for a stand up set as part of the Some Fear tour, so expect clean jokes and a typical theatre vibe with a clear focal point on the comedian.
• 2.The Royal Oak Music Theatre is a mid sized venue, so you'll be close to the action but it's still a seated, traditional show rather than a big arena experience.
• 3.Most of the night is watching and listening with occasional crowd moments you might connect with; plan for a low pressure, mostly social observation environment.
• 4.There's usually a bar and light concessions, so you can grab a drink before or during intermission and bring it back to your seat if allowed.
• 5.If you're new to live comedy, arrive early to park and pick out your seat, silence your phone, and don't worry about needing to perform or engage beyond enjoying the set.
