What to Expect

• 1.Jimmy O. Yang is the headliner; you’ll be watching a stand‑up set in the Masonic Temple Theatre, a large historic venue downtown.
• 2.Doors usually open about an hour before showtime, so plan to arrive early to park and snag a good seat.
• 3.Budget time for concessions; there are snacks and drinks but lines can get long during peak times, so know what you want before the lights dim.
• 4.If you’re driving, downtown Detroit parking garages are convenient but pricey—arrive early or consider rideshare to avoid circling for a spot.
• 5.Keep your phone on silent and be mindful of recording policies; the crowd tends to be receptive but the comic may ask for no recordings.
