What to Expect
- 1.Varner Hall is a traditional recital space on Oakland University\'s campus, so you\'ll be seated and listening most of the night. If you can, skim the program beforehand to know what pieces are coming up.
- 2.Crowd vibe will be respectful and attentive. It\'s not a club scene, so keep conversations to a minimum.
- 3.No food or drink in the hall. You can grab a snack or drink in the lobby before or after.
- 4.Logistics: arrive early for parking and to find Varner Hall. Campus parking can fill up, so give yourself extra time.
- 5.First timers: read the program notes so you know what to listen for and clap between pieces.
