Justin Verlander Career Celebration

About This Event

Day two of a celebration honoring Justin Verlander's legendary career. Includes a long-sleeved hooded jersey for the first 15,000 fans.

What to Expect

• 1.Plan to arrive early because the hoodie giveaway is for the first 15,000 fans and lines at a big stadium can be long.
• 2.Dress in layers and wear comfortable shoes since you'll be on your feet for a while and the weather in Detroit evenings can be chilly.
• 3.Scope out your view before the ceremony starts so you can catch any Verlander tributes and career highlights on the big screen.
• 4.Have a plan for concessions or water; lines can get long during a celebration at a busy ballpark.
• 5.If you are solo, use the crowd around you as conversation starters; fans at this kind of event are typically happy to swap stories about Verlander.
