Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus

About This Event

Community book discussion of 'Lessons in Chemistry' by Bonnie Garmus.

What to Expect

• 1.Get there a little early to grab a seat—the Richardson Community Center can fill up for a local book discussion, and seating is typically first-come, first-served.
• 2.Bring a copy of Lessons in Chemistry or at least a page or quote you want to discuss so you’re ready to join the conversation.
• 3.Expect a moderator-facilitated discussion with room for everyone’s take; speak up respectfully but don’t hog the floor, and listen as much as you talk.
• 4.Parking and entry are straightforward at the Richardson Community Center; give yourself a few extra minutes to park and find the room.
• 5.If you’re new to book clubs, you can just introduce yourself and say you’re there to listen—this is a friendly, local crowd and it’s okay to ease in quietly.
