Local Author Fair

About This Event

A fair featuring local authors at the West Bloomfield Library.

What to Expect

• 1.When you arrive, grab a map of author tables and a schedule so you can plan a quick loop to hit the writers you care about.
• 2.Expect a friendly library crowd—it's easy to chat with authors between signings, but lines for popular names can form, so be patient.
• 3.Books will usually be for sale at signing tables; bring cash or a card and ask about inscriptions or personalization.
• 4.Librarians are your guide here—check in at the info desk for talks, signings, and kids' activities, and ask for reading recommendations.
• 5.Give yourself time to browse and talk to a few authors; you’ll likely leave with a short list of new favorites and titles to track down later.
