LVC Conference Meet - Cross Country

About This Event

LVC Conference Cross Country Championship meet hosted by Walled Lake Northern.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive early to Willow Metropark and park near the cross country course so you don't have to hike across the park after you find the course.
• 2.Wear trail or grippy shoes and be prepared for grassy, uneven terrain; light rain can make the edges muddy.
• 3.Bring a small folding chair or blanket since seating along the course is limited and you'll want a good line of sight.
• 4.Check the race schedule ahead of time so you don't miss your team's races and know when awards or ceremonies happen.
• 5.Pack a light jacket and water; late afternoon in October can feel cooler and the sun can dip sooner than you expect.
• 6.Stay on designated paths and respect course boundaries so you and the runners stay safe and you don't disrupt the meet.
