What to Expect

• 1.You'll walk a shaded route through Municipal Park with banners, survivor recognition and information tents along the way.
• 2.The crowd is friendly and supportive, with families and neighbors cheering you on whether you chat or keep to yourself.
• 3.Hydration stations and light snacks will be available along the path and at the finish, so bring a reusable water bottle and plan for a relaxed pace.
• 4.Check in starts near the starting point around 8:45 am and parking is on surrounding streets around 6th Street; give yourself a few extra minutes for morning traffic.
• 5.For first timers dress comfortably, apply sunscreen, and remember there's no pressure to talk if you just want to walk; you can join a group warm-up at the start if you feel like it.
