What to Expect

• 1.You'll probably get a headliner with a couple of opening acts; get there a bit early to grab a good seat near the stage.
• 2.Two-item minimum per person is real—budget a drink or snack per person so you don’t get surprised at the end.
• 3.The room at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle is intimate but not tiny; keep conversations quiet during performances and clap along when the jokes hit.
• 4.Parking around Royal Oak can be tight after 6 pm, so consider rideshare or a garage a block or two away and give yourself extra time.
• 5.If you’re new to the club, check the show lineup online beforehand so you know which acts are on and what to expect from the night.
