- 1.The midway is the main draw with rides, games, and live entertainment and you'll also find livestock exhibits tucked between the action. Get there early if you want to ride the most popular attractions before lines get long.
- 2.The crowd is big and family friendly, so you can wander at your own pace without feeling pressured to socialize. Be prepared for some loud moments during animal shows and demonstrations.
- 3.Fair food is everywhere and you'll see funnel cake, corn dogs, and caramel apples in nearly every booth; lines can be long so factor extra time or buy a few snacks at once.
- 4.Parking can fill up quickly at the Suburban Collection Showplace so arrive early and plan where to park. Wear comfy shoes and bring a small bag for snacks and souvenirs.
- 5.For first timers it helps to map out the livestock barns and daily shows ahead of time and set a simple route to balance animals, rides, and exhibits.
