What to Expect
- 1.Plan to start in the Pavilion for a quick intro to Tollgate’s goats before you head to the pens for bottle-feeding. Don’t rush—the first moments with the babies are the best.
- 2.Wear closed-toe shoes and bring a light jacket; farm evenings can be chilly and you’ll be on your feet most of the visit.
- 3.Supervise kids closely and let staff guide animal handling; goats nibble, so keep hands visible and wash up after feeding.
- 4.The event runs from 6:00 PM into the evening at MSU Tollgate Farm; check the latest schedule at the venue to know when your program starts and ends.
- 5.Ask staff before taking photos and respect the goats’ space; avoid chasing animals and use the on-site hand-washing station after your visit.
