MOCAD Family Day

About This Event

Be both an artist and a curator! Use MOCAD's model to create miniature artworks and curate your own museum exhibition.

What to Expect

• 1.The day is hands-on: you'll use MOCAD's model to make tiny artworks and then curate your own mini museum exhibit.
• 2.You'll be in a family friendly gallery setting with other attendees, and staff are used to helping first timers.
• 3.Wear clothes you don't mind getting a little messy. Materials are kid friendly, but projects can involve glue, markers, and small components.
• 4.Plan with the 11:00 to 15:00 window and check in at the front desk. Pace yourself through the hands-on stations and factor in a short break for lunch.
• 5.Ask staff for a quick demo or starter theme. The point is exploration and fun, not perfection.
