Movie Nights
About this event
A special movie night in the historic 1929 mansion's Gothic-inspired ballroom. Includes a self-guided tour, popcorn, and popsicles.
What to Expect
- 1.You’ll watch a film in the Gothic ballroom of the 1929 Meadow Brook Hall mansion, and there’s a self-guided tour of the house available before or after the screening. Popcorn and popsicles are provided, so you don’t have to worry about snacks.
- 2.The vibe is relaxed and curious rather than rambunctious, so keep voices down during the film and move at your own pace when you’re touring.
- 3.Arrive a bit early to stroll the mansion and claim a good viewing spot, then enjoy the self-guided tour between or after sequences.
- 4.Plan for an evening schedule (roughly 6:00–9:30 pm) and factor in a bit of extra time for parking and navigating the historic building.
- 5.If you’re into architecture or history, use the self-guided tour as a chance to notice the details of the mansion’s design and Gothic influences between movie segments.
