National Night Out 2026
About this event
A community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships. Features free activities, food, live music, and a rock climbing wall.
What to Expect
- 1.The Auburn Hills Community Center will feel like a neighborly block party with free activities, a live music setup, and a rock climbing wall. If you want to try climbing, grab a staffer early to get on the wall and hear the safety basics.
- 2.Expect a friendly, low pressure crowd with lots of families and neighbors; you can wander between booths at your own pace and dip in or out as you please.
- 3.Food is part of the night, but lines can get long as dinner time approaches, so consider grabbing bites earlier or later and bring a little patience.
- 4.Parking around the community center can fill up; plan to arrive a bit before 6 and consider carpooling or using side streets if needed.
- 5.If you're nervous about meeting people, start with a quick hello to a volunteer or officer at the information table; there are chances to chat without feeling put on the spot.
