Annual Polar Plunge to support Special Olympics Michigan.
What to Expect
- 1.Sign up early and check in on arrival so you know your plunge wave time; bring ID and any required waivers.
- 2.Dress for the plunge: wear a swimsuit or trunks under easy-to-remove layers, plus a warm robe or hoodie for after; pack a towel and dry shoes.
- 3.After you plunge, warm up inside Walled Lake Tavern with hot drinks and a bite to eat—watch for wet floors near the exits.
- 4.Bring cash or donate online for Special Olympics Michigan, and look out for raffles or merch that supports the cause.
- 5.Spectators can cheer from designated spots and bring friends; wear something bright to stand out and capture photos with the plunge crew.
