Oakland University Esports: Swiss Round 1

About This Event

Oakland University Esports Overwatch team competes in Swiss Round 1 of the fall campaign.

What to Expect

• 1.Plan your arrival and parking since the event is on Oakland University's campus at 201 Meadow Brook Road, Rochester, MI. Swiss Round 1 starts at 8:30 pm so give yourself about 15 minutes to park and walk to the esports setup.
• 2.The space is a student run campus event, so seating can be limited and you may end up standing between matches, wear comfy shoes and bring a light layer.
• 3.If you want to chat with players or coaches, aim for breaks between rounds; most folks are friendly but it is still a competitive environment.
• 4.Hydration and snacks might be scarce right around the venue after 8 pm, so bring a water bottle or plan to grab something from campus beforehand.
• 5.If you can, bring a friend to watch with you so you have someone to discuss plays with and you feel less like a lone observer.
