What to Expect
- 1.You’ll be treated to a slate of Oakland University student films—shorts across genres from narrative to experimental. The blocks move quickly, so plan to stay for the whole program if you can.
- 2.Expect a supportive, campus-film-scene crowd; there’s often a short Q&A with filmmakers after each block, so bring a couple questions.
- 3.Parking around Dodge Hall can be tricky; arrive early and map out a nearby lot before you go.
- 4.There are campus eateries and a library area within walking distance—grab coffee or a bite before or after the screenings, and bring water just in case.
- 5.Doors typically open a bit before showtime and seating is first-come, first-served; keep phones silent and respect the quieter screening moments.
