What to Expect
- 1.Plan to arrive around 11:30 at Katke-Cousins Golf Course in Rochester Hills to check in and grab your scorecard before the 12 pm tee off. The day benefits OU Biological Science and Modern Languages and Literatures, so you're playing for a good cause.
- 2.Wear standard golf attire and sunscreen; bring comfortable shoes and a hat for a day outdoors.
- 3.If you're flying solo, use breaks between holes to chat with other players or volunteers; charity outings like this are usually welcoming to newcomers.
- 4.You're there to support OU departments, so feel free to ask staff about how your participation helps and who benefits.
- 5.Hydrate and bring water; the schedule runs from noon to about 7 pm, so pace yourself on the course.
