A day of golf and connection benefiting the Departments of Biological Science and Modern Languages and Literatures.
What to Expect
- 1.Arrive early to check in and pick up your scorecard, then head to your tee time with plenty of buffer for parking and walking from the lot.
- 2.Dress for the course with a collared shirt and golf shoes or clean sneakers; bring sunscreen and a hat and a light layer since Meadow Brook can be breezy and the course is large.
- 3.Expect a social but not chaotic vibe; you'll typically be paired with others or with donors, so use the chance to chat between holes without feeling pressured to perform.
- 4.On course you'll find water and snack stations and there is usually a post round reception with light bites; plan to stay for the networking and meet faculty from Biological Science and Modern Languages.
- 5.Pace of play matters, fix any divots you make, and exchange business cards if you want to follow up; this fundraiser is a great excuse to connect with departments and fellow supporters.
