Optimist Pet Show
About this event
Annual pet show hosted by the Optimist Club at the Plymouth Fall Festival.
What to Expect
- 1.You'll wander Kellogg Park during the Plymouth Fall Festival and see a variety of pets and their people, with dogs on leashes and kids in tow. Most of the action happens in open grassy areas, so bring a lightweight chair if you want to sit for a bit.
- 2.The crowd is family friendly and low pressure, so you can stroll, take photos, and chat with other dog owners without chasing a strict schedule.
- 3.Food and drinks will be nearby at the festival, but the pet show itself may not have extensive concessions. Bring water for your pet and a snack for yourself.
- 4.Parking around West Ann Arbor Trail is usually available, but arriving a bit early helps you snag a spot close to Kellogg Park. Check in at the Optimist Club tent, keep dogs on a sturdy leash, and bring waste bags for cleanup.
- 5.If you're solo, introduce yourself to volunteers or fellow attendees, watch a few pet moments, and let the crowd guide your pace. Dress for outdoors and wear comfortable shoes. Mornings in Plymouth can be cool so bring a light jacket.
