Scarecrows in the Park
About this event
The annual display of community-created scarecrows begins in Kellogg Park.
What to Expect
- 1.Plan a slow loop around Kellogg Park to see all the scarecrows; displays are community-made and usually labeled with the creator and theme.
- 2.It's a casual daytime stroll that's family-friendly; you can dip in for a few minutes or linger longer with neighbors.
- 3.Wear comfy shoes and sunscreen, and bring water; you may be out walking for an hour or more.
- 4.Parking near the park can fill up, so consider arriving a bit before 9 am or parking on nearby streets and walking in.
- 5.No ticket or formal program, just show up and enjoy the displays; if you want, say hi to a creator or snap some photos.
