Information station for students to learn about campus involvement and Welcome Week activities.
What to Expect
- 1.Head straight to the information station to grab a campus involvement map, then wander the student organization tables to see what matches your interests.
- 2.The crowd moves at a relaxed pace and you can chat with volunteers if you want or just collect maps and flyers and leave.
- 3.Bring water and a small notebook; you'll likely collect a bunch of clubs and events to plan.
- 4.Parking can be busy during Welcome Week, so check campus maps or use the shuttle and give yourself extra time to navigate Oakland Center.
- 5.If you feel overwhelmed, ask for a buddy from the info desk or stick to a couple of tables at a time; there's no pressure to sign up on the spot.
