Owl Encounters
About this event
Join us on this encounter to visit the rehabilitated owls that call the Stage Nature Center home. This tour gives you a chance to learn more about the different owl […]\n
What to Expect
- 1.You're visiting the Stage Nature Center's owl rehab area—look for several rehabilitated owls, and listen to a short talk about each species and their recovery.
- 2.Expect a curious, respectful crowd; keep your voice down so the owls aren’t spooked and the guides can share details clearly.
- 3.There’s no on-site cafe; bring water and dress for winter weather since part of the experience is outdoors, with a few indoor pauses.
- 4.Park on-site and plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early; the tour starts promptly at 3:00 pm and weather can make parking and visibility different in January.
- 5.If you’re new to this, wear sturdy shoes and a warm layer; cameras are welcome but avoid flashes and stay with the group so the owls aren’t disturbed.
