Pat Metheny Side-Eye III+

About This Event

Jazz guitarist Pat Metheny performs with his Side-Eye project.

What to Expect

• 1.Expect intricate guitar lines and spacey, exploratory improvisation from Pat Metheny and the Side-Eye ensemble, with extended passages that breathe and build.
• 2.The crowd will likely be a focused, attentive jazz audience—soft conversations only between tunes and during interludes.
• 3.Concessions and a bar are available at the venue, so consider grabbing a drink or snack before the show or during intermission to minimize line-waiting mid-set.
• 4.The Royal Oak Music Theatre is a mid-sized venue with assigned seating, so find your seat early and know your row to avoid last-minute scrambling.
• 5.If you’re new to Side-Eye, go in with an open mind to instrumental exploration rather than radio-ready hooks; expect mood shifts and dynamic contrasts across the set.
