What to Expect

• 1.Sit in the public seating and follow the posted agenda; you'll see staff presentations, board deliberations, and public comment periods.
• 2.Public comment slots are usually limited and timed, so bring your questions early and be concise.
• 3.Parking downtown near West Main can be tight after 6 pm, so arrive a bit early and allow extra time for a quick walk.
• 4.Bring a notepad or device to take notes because decisions on zoning or development can affect the community.
• 5.If you are new, skim the meeting agenda in advance so you know what is being discussed and when you can comment.
