Planning Commission Meeting

About This Event

Regular meeting of the South Lyon Planning Commission.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll be in the Downtown South Lyon City Hall council chamber watching the planning commission discuss zoning items, hear staff updates, and listen to public comment.
• 2.The room tends to be formal and orderly, so speak clearly if you choose to comment and keep questions concise.
• 3.There probably isn't a cafe inside City Hall, so eat beforehand and plan to grab coffee or a bite on nearby Warren Street before or after the meeting.
• 4.Arrive a bit early to snag a seat and check the published agenda for public-comment windows; parking on Warren Street or in nearby lots is common.
• 5.If you're new to this, you can simply observe the process on your first visit and only step up to speak if you want to, keeping it brief and to the point.
