What to Expect
- 1.You'll hear live poetry readings in a quiet library room, and there's no registration needed, so just show up a few minutes early to grab a seat.
- 2.The crowd tends to be respectful and low-key, which makes it easy to attend solo without feeling on display.
- 3.Because this is a library event, expect limited inside food and drinks; bring a bottle of water if allowed and plan to grab a bite nearby on West 12 Mile Road before or after.
- 4.Parking is usually on-site at Farmington Hills location or along 12 Mile Road, so give yourself a little extra time to find a spot.
- 5.If you are new to poetry events, treat this as a low-pressure way to sample poets and notes; you can simply listen and decide if you want to stay for the whole session.
