What to Expect
- 1.You'll wander Tollgate Farm's pollinator friendly gardens on a guided stroll, spotting bees and butterflies as they work among the blooms. The guide will point out the plants that attract pollinators and explain what you're seeing.
- 2.The crowd is casual and friendly, and solo attendees usually end up chatting with the guide or other walkers without feeling pressured.
- 3.Bring sun protection, water, and closed-toe shoes; you'll be outdoors for a couple of hours and the paths can be uneven.
- 4.Arrive a few minutes early to find parking on Meadowbrook Road and check in at the education center.
- 5.If you're new to this, don't be shy about asking questions during stops; pollinator talks are designed to be beginner friendly.
