Punch Brothers

About This Event

Live performance by the American acoustic quintet Punch Brothers.

What to Expect

• 1.You're in for intricate, precise acoustic playing from a five piece ensemble; watch how the voices weave together and how tempo and dynamics shift.
• 2.The Royal Oak Music Theatre is a traditional seated venue, so most of the night is listening and watching rather than dancing; expect a respectful, music first crowd.
• 3.Parking and entry around West 4th Street can get tight before a show, so leave extra time and consider nearby garages.
• 4.Concessions exist but lines can get long before intermission; grab drinks early if you want to miss the rush.
• 5.If this is your first Punch Brothers show, go in with an open mind to their blend of bluegrass and classical influences and let the melodies carry you.
