Recovery & Resilience Festival
About this event
A full day dedicated to hope, healing, and community, highlighting Multiple Pathways to Recovery across Southeast Michigan with live music and art.
What to Expect
- 1.The festival spans indoor galleries and outdoor spaces at the Downriver Council For the Arts, so give yourself time to wander and catch both music sets and art installations. Plan a loose loop so you're not stuck chasing one thing all day.
- 2.The crowd is friendly and supportive since it is a recovery and resilience event, so say hi to a neighbor in line for a mural or a performer after a set.
- 3.Bring water and wear comfortable shoes; you'll be on your feet a lot and there may be sun or weather changes in Wyandotte.
- 4.Look for interactive stations where you can contribute or reflect; it's not just passive watching you can engage with art and small group activities.
- 5.Check the welcome desk on arrival for schedule maps, accessibility info, and where to find quiet spaces if you need a break.
- 6.If you're new to recovery events, there is no pressure to participate in anything you're not comfortable with; you can observe and take it at your own pace.
