A street festival featuring over 50 taquerias, tequila, and live music to kick off the summer.
What to Expect
- 1.There will be a ton of taquerias along the downtown Royal Oak streets, so plan a route and pace yourself. You won't finish everything in one day, so pick 2-3 must-tries and circle back if you have room.
- 2.The crowd will be lively and casual and you can easily chat with vendors or other foodies in line. If you want a quieter bite, look for seating near restaurant entrances or along side streets.
- 3.Bring a mix of cash and card because some taquerias may be cash-only and lines move fast. Pack a small bottle of water and stay hydrated in the July heat.
- 4.Parking downtown Royal Oak can be tight, so consider rideshare or public parking and give yourself extra time since the festival runs 11 to 8.
- 5.Wear comfy shoes and sunscreen, and download the festival map in advance so you can hit a few tequila spots and vendors without getting overwhelmed.
