Scotch School Brick Building 100th Anniversary Open House

About This Event

Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the third Scotch School building in West Bloomfield.

What to Expect

• 1.Take a slow stroll through the displays about the third Scotch School building's 100 year history, looking for archival photos, yearbooks, and architectural sketches.
• 2.The crowd is laid back and local, with no rigid program. You can wander at your own pace and chat with a volunteer if you want.
• 3.Parking around Orchard Lake Road can be tight; arrive a bit early or plan to park on nearby side streets.
• 4.If you're new to local history events, ask volunteers where the oldest displays are or what changed most when the brick building was added.
• 5.Bring a friend or say hi to a neighbor; it's a nice chance to connect with the community and learn a bit about local school history.
