Shiny Rust Hot Rod Spectacular 2026

About This Event

Metro Detroit's newest indoor classic car and hot rod show featuring hundreds of rides, movie cars, and a pin-up girl contest.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive when doors open to check out the indoor car displays before the crowd settles in; the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi is a large indoor venue so map out your route first.
• 2.The show features hot rods, customs, and classics with vendors selling parts and memorabilia; take notes of cars you want to revisit and talk to the owners.
• 3.Expect a friendly but busy crowd during peak hours; walk at a steady pace and let others pass in tighter aisles.
• 4.Food and drinks will be available from vendor booths inside, so bring a small bag for purchases and be prepared for lines around lunch.
• 5.Wear comfortable shoes and plan breaks; use the event map and seating areas to rest while you're there.
