What to Expect
- 1.Plan to grab dinner from the food trucks when they open at 4pm, then stake out a spot near the stage for the 7pm start.
- 2.Dress for grassy outdoor seating and bring a blanket or portable chair; there may not be a lot of built-in seating.
- 3.Parking around McHattie Park on South Lafayette Street can fill up fast—carpool or arrive early to avoid circling the block.
- 4.Expect a casual, friendly crowd with classic Motown and 80s hits you’ll want to sing along to; people of all ages will be dancing.
- 5.Stay hydrated and be aware of breaks in the set between songs—the show runs about two hours, from 7 to 9, with occasional pauses.
