South Lyon Pumpkinfest 2026

About This Event

The 41st annual fall festival featuring a parade, craft show, live entertainment, and the Great Pumpkin Contest.

What to Expect

• 1.Plan to get there a bit before 6 pm to park and grab a good view of the parade and crafts along Downtown South Lyon.
• 2.Wear comfy shoes and a light jacket; evenings get chilly and the crowds make it a standing affair.
• 3.Bring cash for the craft show vendors and the pumpkin contest entries; some booths may be cash-only.
• 4.Grab a program at the info booth or City Hall steps to catch the live entertainment schedule and the Great Pumpkin Contest times.
• 5.If you're attending with kids, pick a meetup point near City Hall and watch for some family-friendly viewing spots as the parade rolls through downtown.
• 6.Take photos with the pumpkins and festival decorations; the Great Pumpkin Contest and live shows give you plenty of photo opportunities.
